FINDING A REFERENCE DESIGNATOR - FAST AND FREE

To search for a reference designator inside your PCB CAM files (Gerber, ODB++, 2581) is a very common search requirement.   

Perform these following steps with the PCB Preflight Free Viewer:

  1. Load any the Design with components in FAB3000 or PCB Preflight.
  2. Select the tab: Components
  3. Click inside the box Refdes: 
  4. Type any Reference designator and Press Enter to highlight any component.
